Why Do We Put on Weight?
Are you dieting all time long? You seem to follow all diet tips and tricks but somehow instead of losing weight you are still the size you were on the day one of your diet. Or maybe after having shed off excess pounds you gained everything back? So why fat cut is hard for you? The first reason is you eat too much. Even if you take in slightly more each day than is enough for you, you will grow bigger in the long run. For example, if you consume daily only 100 calories more than you need, you will gain ca. 10 pounds by the end of the year. Another important issue is that you are simply growing older. Our metabolism slows down with age. If we have turned 30, we should be really very careful about calorie intake. To keep your pre-30 years of age weight, think of eliminating high calorie foods from your daily meals. To save calories you can cut down on afternoon coffee and dessert, and replace it with an apple. You can also boost your metabolism by eating smaller meals more often throughout the day. Some good diets are based on that principle, such as cookie diet which reprograms patients to follow eat-less-more-often rule for life. And last, we skip exercising. The well-known fact is that we don’t move enough. Try to gradually include more physical activity into your day. To maintain good health and weight, you need a minimum of 30 minutes exercise at least 5 times per week. But it can be just walking, gardening as well as housework, and not necessarily hard gym classes. Physical workout improves metabolism which helps you to stay slim
